When we started the design of Oceanco 702, we had just finished the 701, a yacht of same size - 269’ - but very different as concept. With 702 we wanted to create something that is distinguished from other yachts. Just ten years ago to be distinguished the size was very helpful: 50 meters was a large yacht and just the size of 82 meters would have been enough to be the star among others. Today, with sizes of yachts increasing continuously, we had to be more creative.

Custom study. montara 111’ shaped as a mega yacht
The Montara 111’ is the last brand new project on our range; it is a serious study for a Monegasque yachtsman in love with catamarans. This project was developed on our Montara 105’ base actually under order. The main change on this model is the upper deck which is entirely dedicated to the owner stateroom and his family with more than 150m², this deck looks like a real flat. This huge family suite is able to be part of a big 50 meters long monohull yacht. This is this main unusual detail which has seduced our customers.

The amels 212 design will be presented at the 2006 monaco yacht show
Vlissingen, The Netherlands: Amels, acknowledged masters of the art of superyacht building, announces plans to begin construction of the second in its LIMITED EDITIONS series, the 64,7-meter AMELS 212. This decision follows the stunning success of the AMELS 171, introduced at the Monaco Yacht Show in 2005. At the time, Amels had elected to begin building two hulls, and in a few months sold both. Client inquiries then put Amels in the strong position of beginning construction of the third and fourth, one of which is also sold. Amels is now preparing to build the fifth and sixth.
