Oceanco’s acclaimed 82m MY Alfa Nero received her sixth award at this year’s Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in the “2007 Best Power Design over 65 meters” category. Alfa Nero was up against stiff competition but was the ultimate prize winner in her category.

The awards were conducted by the International Superyacht Society, a not-for-profit organization serving and representing the international large yacht industry. The Gala Ceremony took place at the Grand Ballroom in the Marriott Harbor Beach Hotel in Fort Lauderdale on the evening of October 30, 2008.

Since her launch in 2007, Alfa Nero has already won five prestigious awards, including the “Best Full Displacement Motoryacht over 75m” award with ShowBoats International, the Yachts International Magazine Award for “Most Innovative Yacht, 2007”, two awards with Boat International for “Best Exterior Design” and “Best Interior Styling”, and the “Most Innovative Exterior Yacht Design of the Year” award with Asia Pacific Boating.

These, and the numerous other awards won by the Oceanco fleet over the years, are continuous proof that Oceanco superyachts are designed to have a timeless appeal and reflect the ultimate in sophistication, both on a technical and an aesthetic level.
