September 10-15, 2008 the international consortium Timmerman Yachts will participate in the international exhibition Cannes Boat Show (Vieux Port & Port Pierre Canto), September 24-27 the company will be present at the exclusive Monaco Yacht Show (Port Hercules).

At the Cannes Boat and Yachts Show Timmerman Yachts will present the oceanic superyacht of the project Timmerman 33 designed by Ginton Naval Architects and Guido de Groot Design. Thanks to the ice class of the yacht the owner can sail it in any season and due to warmth saving windows and modern climate-control system Heinen&Hopman the guests will feel comfortable at any overboard temperature, from –20 to +45°С.

The yacht was built under the supervision of of Norske Veritas (DNV) and fully complies with MCA requirements. Timmerman 33 provides for excellent sea-going characteristics as well as reliability and easy maintenance. Two diesel engines Caterpillar, 479 hp each, enable the yacht to cruise at 12 knots and provide for the range of 2500 nm which is close to transatlantic. 

According to the customer’s wish the yacht interior is made in two styles. The lower deck is decorated in classic style and on the upper deck elements of Japanese décor are involved. The salon in the style art-décor is decorated with rich fabrics. 

Аudio-video systems (AV) based on AMX with cordless control was integrated with LINN components and acoustics (Scotland), the company which is a supplier of English Royal Household. 

In Cannes Timmerman will be nominated for Trophies 2008 by Yachts International. 

At Cannes Boat and Yachts Show Timmerman Yachts will be present at the stand № SYE026. 

Timmerman 47 was developed by Vripack Yachting International, the European independent design company. Bannenberg Designes Ltd., the company with world-wide reputation, was involved in interior planning of Timmerman 47. The interior of the vessel was made by SINNEX, the Austrian company, which is the producer of individual interiors of super premium class for such yachts as Pelorus, The Maltese Falcon, Dilbar. The valuable wood species such as wenge, makassar, oak, American cherry, walnut root, ebony were used in rooms finishing. Timmerman 47 was built under the supervision of Det Norske Veritas (DNV) and fully complies with MCA requirements. 

The yacht features five gust staterooms and five crew cabins. The intergrated captain’s bridge is equipped with innovative navigation systems. Salon on the upper deck is a comfortable area with a fireplace. The yacht, like Timmerman 33, features a sauna, which is another unique feature of the vessel. 

Two diesel engines Caterpillar 3412E, 537 kW each, enable the yacht to cruise at 13 knots. The range of Timmerman 47 is 4000 nautical miles which allows not only to cross the Atlantic ocean but also to circumnavigate with only five refuels. 

Timmerman 47 will be nominated for World Superyacht Awards 2008 by Boat International. 

At the Monaco Yacht Show Timmerman Yachts will be present at the stand №QN9.
