On 25th of March 2008 at Timmerman Yachts shipyard connection of the steel hull and aluminum superstructure of the 4th yacht in the framework of Timmerman 40 project was performed. 

The process was performed in the hull shop by means of bridge cranes for the first time. Before the connections had been done on the yard's slip. It allowed to save time without using additional means and extra work. Thanks to the professional skills of the yard’s specialists the superstructure was installed on the yacht’s hull with 1 mm tolerance. The connection was a success and since it was done in the new conditions for the first time one can be quite sure that the yard specialists’ expectations were met. 

Oceanic yacht of Timmerman 40-4 project has been designed by the famous design company Vripack Yachting International. The exterior of this glamorous ship with her deep blue hull and snow-white superstructure will be designed in the modern style while the interior is a bit of English classical style. The Owner's accommodation is located in the bow part of the main deck and includes a spacy study on the SB. Traditionally the planning for superyachts of such size is done in such a way that the Owner’s area is clearly divided from the crew part of the ship. Such arrangement allows the customer and his guests to feel themselves completely comfortable and independent. Official meals and meetings will be held in the upper deck salon which is divided into two zones - the dining and the rest ones. On the open area of the upper deck guests will sit on the comfortable sofa and enjoy sea fresh air and look at the endless water surface. On the yacht there is a circular stair connecting all closed decks and making this project prominent from other Timmerman yachts. 4 guest cabins on the lower deck will receive 8 people while for the crew 3 cabins with 2 beds are provided (for the Master a cabin with 2 beds is provided). 

In the Engine Room two diesel engines Caterpillar (2 x 448 кW) will be installed enabling ship to develop the speed of 12,5 knots. The range of the yacht is 4000 nautical miles. The yacht is being built under the supervision of Det Norske Veritas (DNV) and corresponds to MCA requirements. Timmerman 40-4 will go under the Caiman islands flag. 

In the near future the launching of the first oceanic yacht of the project Timmerman 40 will be performed. When the ship is launched she will go to Sochi to be delivered to the customer and after it the yacht will be presented at the exclusive Monaco Yacht Show 2008.
