TIMMERMAN YACHTS LAUNCHED THE FIRST TRANSATLANTIC MEGAYACHT OF THE PROJECT TIMMERMAN-45June 28th a unique ceremony was held at the shipyard Timmerman Yachts. The 45-meter transatlantic yacht built in Russia was launched in the presence of the owner’s representatives and chief executives of the company. The building contract of the yacht was signed December 31st, 2005. The yacht was built according to the project Timmerman 45 developed by the largest European independent design company Vripack Yachting International.
The interiors by Bannenberg Designs Ltd are in the style of “naval romance”. The navigation area of the yacht is unlimited, the reinforced hull allows her to sail in the broken ice. Thanks to her heat-retaining glass cover and modern climate system Heinen & Hopman guests will always fill comfortable.
The four-deck ship with the steel hull was built under the supervision of Det Norske Veritas (DNV) and fully complies with the MCA rules. The classic lay-out of the yacht features five guest and five crew staterooms.
Two diesel engines Caterpillar 3412E 537 kW allow the yacht to speed at 13.5 k. With the range of 4000 nm the yacht can not only cross the Atlantic ocean but also make a world tour with only five toppings-up. There is a helicopter platform on the upper deck. The interior decoration was performed by SINNEX (Austria). The AV system on the base of the server AMX with remote control is supplemented with the components and acoustics by LINN (Scotland), the supplier of the English Royal Court.
