© Alessandro Bartolozzi

The Oscar for Italian entrepreneurship was granted to Fabio Perini by the President of the Republic during an official ceremony at the Quirinale palace, in the presence of the Minister of International Trade and European Policies Emma Bonino, the President of the Leonardo Committee Laura Biagiotti, the President of ICE (National Institute for Foreign Trade) Ambassador Umberto Vattani, the Vicepresident of Confindustria (Confederation of Italian Industry) Marco Colaninno.

The Leonardo Committee intends “to promote and enhance the image of Italy as a national system, with the aim of applauding all that is made in Italy, with high quality goods leading the way”. The official statement explains how Fabio Perini was awarded because of the successful combination between talent, entrepreneurial skill, and leadership in both the paper and ship-building industries. Today the Perini Navi Group has plants in Italy and Turkey and controls directly all the design and construction process, from naval architecture, to interior design of mega yachts.

The important recognition honors Perini Navi’s excellence and commitment during the latest 24 years of activity.
