For the first time, the Ferretti Group brand for pleisure yachts will be present at this event with a 54 metre boat made of steel and aluminium, “Maraya”, shipyard hull number 121. This five-decked ship, realized with the collaboration of the CRN technical staff and Studio Zuccon International Project, designers of the external layout, has with a powerful graystone coloured hull. The interiors were designed by the interior designer Claude Missir Agency based on the owner’s requests. “Fort Lauderdale is among the most important boat shows worldwide, an inalienable event and an ideal platform for the presentation of products, technological innovations and previews. It is very important for us to be present on such an international stage where all the most important nautical players meet,” as the Chairman of CRN Lamberto Tacoli stated. “CRN is proud to be here, representing Italian style and excellence in the world. With Maraya we will go back to Miami with a totally new operation, presenting a steel boat, a superior product in terms of performance and luxury.” Like all the other boats of the Marche Region shipyard, Maraya is an entirely customized project, a faithful reflection of the client’s desires which significantly characterizes its structure and soul. The external layout stands out for its imposing volumes, strongly identifying it with the CRN brand, while the interiors inaugurate an absolutely new project design. Maraya is the first megayacht shipyard to experiment with a lighting system which is completely based on fibre optics and led, an innovative choice which is functional for the harmony and the modern elegance of the boat itself. Indeed, light becomes the principal architectonical element, a source of splendour and seduction: the 600 lighting points, installed in the areas to be used by the 12 guests, define spaces and sharply light up the decorations, giving them greater depth. This dialogue between illumination and the furnishings is the key that deciphers the design chosen for Maraya. The halls, the dining room, the ownership’s cabin and all the internal areas are reigned by a seducing chiaroscuro reproduced by the wise use of light cones as well as prestigious materials and furnishings: the walnut covering panels and structural furniture, big beige velvet sofas, the dining table made of ebony and the chairs covered in faceted cognac coloured leather. Moreover, of importance are the Italian designed objects such as the spectacular oval bath made of Corian branded by Boffi, the protagonist of the ownership’s bathroom and the precious desk lamps signed by Philippe Starck used in the guests’ cabins. Another CRN characteristic feature is the private terrace of the ownership’s suite, a platform overlooking the sea formed by pulling down the hatchback which can be set up as a "balcony" with table and chairs for an enchanting breakfast overlooking the sea. The atmosphere of all the external areas, where the ownership has recreated corners for complete relaxation and privacy, is also refined and seducing. There is no wellness area on "Maraya", a megayacht which the owner has designed for his own family. The stern of the lower deck, overlooking the beach platform is indeed equipped as a "children room" and allows young guests to play just a few steps away from the ocean, a picture of magical seduction. In the engine room, equipped with a separate control room, two Caterpillar 3512B engines push the boat at a cruising speed of 14 knots and a maximum speed of 15 knots. At the stern of the engine hall, a garage hosts a tender CASTOLDI JET 23 of 7.10 m while two jet skis and a rescue boat are situated in the technical area at the bow of the main deck. The crew consists of 10 people for whom there is a crew mess with a dinette and 6 comfortable cabins, all of which have their own private bathroom.
