At the end of June, 2012 in the city of Sochi solemn delivery 26 meter motor yachts of the Timmerman 26 project to the Customer took place. This beauty to builders of the Moscow shipbuilding and ship-repair plant managed to be created in only one and a half years.

Fipa Group delivers another AB Yachts 116, with Interior Design by Guido de Groot. The Italian based Shipyard AB Yachts, part of the Fipa Group has recently delivered MY Diamond. Guido de Groot has collaborated with the Italian Yard for a number of fast Motor Yachts, including the interior styling of the new AB 116 DIAMOND. The AB 116 models features a generous flybridge with a unique floating command helm.

The new 65-metre SEA RHAPSODY was christened at the Amels shipyard in Vlissingen, Holland. The Dutch superyacht builder delivered SEA RHAPSODY on time and the owners are looking forward to starting their yachting season in the Mediterranean as planned.

Feadship has become the first Western shipyard to sell a new-built 45m superyacht to an owner from the People’s Republic of China. Following a recent tour of the Far East by the award-winning Feadship Helix, a Chinese client requested a similar-sized vessel that would also include a helicopter deck. Feadship immediately designed and engineered this option and presented it for approval in a timely manner. Construction is now commencing to ensure the delivery before the Chinese New Year in 2013.

On Thursday, May 24th, 2012 - ISA (International Shipyards Ancona) launched the 50-meter motor yacht "Belle Anna", the third in a series of new 50m yachts built by ISA. The three yachts in the 50m series share the same technical platform but differ in their superstructure and transom design.

The Singapore Yacht Show returned in style last week, attracting an excellent turnout of really high quality visitors to fully justify the participation from some of the world’s top yacht builders, brokers and exhibitors. The 2nd edition, held from April 27 to 29, inspired visitors and exhibitors alike with a fuller and finer line-up of some of the world’s most current and talked-about superyachts and finely crafted boats.

Asian yacht builders have been growing in global market share and are now starting to get worldwide media recognition. In addition to reorganising the size categories, the awards this year feature a brand new category: Best Asian Built Yacht.
