 The list of nominees comes from online polling of Asia-Pacific Boating readers, with final winners being determined by a panel of judges that have been selected for their ability to make informed, impartial decisions. The awards ceremony is organised by Blu Inc Media, publisher of Asia-Pacific Boating and its Chinese-language sister publication, China Boating. The Asia Boating Awards will take place on May 10, just one day prior to the start of the Hong Kong Gold Coast Boat Show at the Hong Kong Gold Coast Yacht and Country Club.
