ISA: NEW DESIGN, NEW CLIENT AND NEW CONTRACT

Ever more oriented to anticipating the market trends with innovative projects in design and technology, ISA announces the sale of an exciting 50 metre displacement Superyacht to a new client.

This yacht is yet a further feather in the cap for the now well-established cooperation between ISA and Vallicelli Studio, which has engendered the much recognized ISA 120 series and the recently announced gorgeous, 63 metre vessel that is sure to intrigue industry insiders and beauty fanatics alike.

The “ISA 500” is a three-deck superyacht based on the recent 48-metre platform. She has a wonderful mix of aggressive yet sporty bow with wonderfully elegant stern; this added to huge internal and external volumes, put her perfectly in line with the present, increasingly challenging market demands. 

The hull form amidships has an exciting dynamic and elegant outline which is strengthened by the line of the windows of the full beam accommodation in the hull following, beautifully the line of the bow.

With her steel hull and aluminium superstructure, this 50 meter yacht has the clean and smooth lines that have become symbolic to this new range of projects so successfully proposed to the market by ISA.

Its interesting transom has no stairway but the wide aft door opens, giving access to the “beach room” and creating a most versatile area to enjoy the use of the water toys or for a refreshing splash. A large guest tender is housed in a compartment adjoining “the beach area” and is launched through a convenient hull side door.

The upper deck forward of a wheelhouse is furnished with two sofas, that allow guests to enjoy the view while cruising, and is easily linked to the main deck and by a small stairway to the foredeck area.

On the main deck corridors are wide and spacious with the main saloon being encircled with a continuous panoramic window that opens out through the wide sliding doors to the aft main deck creating a comfortably spacious living area. 

The vast sundeck over 17 meters long is furnished with a large pool , sunbathing area and intergrated drinks bar. The centrally placed dining table is situated under the space frame roll bar and mast with structural sunshade, whist further aft is a comfortable sitting area and a number of chais-longues.

Thanks to the two MTU 12V4000 M71 engines, this yacht reaches a maximum speed of 16.8 knots and a cruising speed of 14.5 knots. The delivery for this luxury vessel is scheduled for the late spring of 2010.

This ultimate design for a new client for ISA heralds the beginning of a new area for the shipyard which is now ready to accept its next exciting challenge. With the order book for International Shipyards Ancona now full, the next possible delivery for one of these exceptional toys is 2011.
