"Amevi", (formerly known as Y701) at 80 m (262.48 ft), is the first of the new generation of yachts currently in-build at OceAnco that now total a staggering 417.50m. Every one of "Amevi"’s systems, from the LCD gymnasium windows through to the state-of-art Rolls Royce zero speed retractable stabilisers, will be thoroughly tested under OceAnco’s strict zero error tolerance procedures over the next months, prior to her delivery in time for her owner’s summer cruising season.
Following on from "Amevi" will be the launch of the striking 82m (269ft) Y702 in spring 2007. Y702, affectionately known as the "yacht with the aft deck pool beach club", will be delivered in the summer and head south to the Mediterranean for the season.
Y703, the 75.50 m (247.70 ft) Sam Sorgiovanni design, will soon be loaded into the Alblasserdam building hall for final finishing. Y703 is scheduled to be launched at the beginning of 2008 and will be delivered in May of that year.
The latest OceAnco, the 85.47m (280.40ft) Nuvolari & Lenard Y704, will follow Y703 later in 2008. Engineering is also well under way for yachts ranging in length from 85m (278.85ft) to 105m (344.50ft).
"Amevi" is part of the new generation of OceAnco luxury displacement megayachts and will no doubt draw considerable attention wherever she docks. Her stunning lines and striking volumes characterise her as an innovative OceAnco yacht and marks the start of a new era in OceAnco’s remarkable history.
