Rondal to optimise wind power on Greenpeace’s Rainbow Warrior III

Rondal has acquired the prestigious order for the manufacture and supply of the masts, booms, rigging, winches, deck equipment, furling systems, hydraulics and sails for the new Greenpeace flagship, Rainbow Warrior III. Due to be launched during the organisation’s 40th anniversary year in 2011, this 58-metre sailing vessel aims to harness the power of the wind in the most efficient possible way.

Busy time at Heesen Yachts shipyard in Oss

Heesen Yachts is proud to announce that following the launching and delivery of hull number 14647, M/Y 4YOU, other sizeable hulls were repositioned within the shipyard in Oss. The outfitting of hull number 14955 has now started in Building Hall 7, while hull number 15250 was moved into Building Hall 1 for completion.

Laky Verf sixth motor yacht of 23m project

In October Laky Verf has completed the construction of the sixth lux class motor yacht continuing the model line of the 23M Project. The snow-white steel vessel is designed in the recognized company’s style that combines dynamics and respectability. The yacht differs from the previous fifth yacht in exterior by specific white shade and dark-blue line along the board.

Building started on 24 m Ginton design

Dutch based Fifth Ocean Yachts bv has appointed Ginton Naval Architects bv for the design of the first of a series of 24 meters ocean going yachts. Building has been commenced at Black Sea Yacht Yard in the town Nikolaev in Ukraine, which is the perfect place to build this special design, with the towns rich history of shipbuilding.
