The 17th Monaco Yacht Show will be held from 19 to 22, September 2007 in Port Hercules, Monaco.
The 17th Monaco Yacht Show will be held from 19 to 22, September 2007 in Port Hercules, Monaco. This is considered to be the world’s leading show for international luxury yachting.
● This year’s vintage will offer a well-rounded bouquet with 95 of the world’s most beautiful yachts, measuring between 25 and 90 meters, 50% of which are longer than 40m.
● More than 30 Super Yachts will be presented to the world for the first time ever: these floating palaces bring together technological innovations, cutting-edge trends in design and equipment of an outstanding quality.
● Moorings will extend all along the entire T Central quay offering all the show’s yachts easy access to both the quay and the ship-builders’ and brokers’ stands that are found there.
● The 15 world’s greatest ship-builders will be there(as they are ranked in the Show Boats International 2007).
More exhibition space and an enlarged range of services
● 9000m2 of stand spacemaking an increase of 1000m2.
● More spacious stands and two-level pavilions on the Etats-Unis quay.
● Further standson the Nord Jetty and the T Central quay creating new welcoming space right next to the yachts.
● A greatly-enlarged and refurbished Press Lounge and Press Center in the heart of the airconditioned tent on the Darse Sud quaysporting the colours of Only Yacht, specialist in yacht
insurance.
● The Baccarat Crystal Lounge: will be refurbished by Baccarat who will unveil there the new collection of table art works and crystal decorations designed by Philippe Starck. The carpets of the lounge were specially designed for the occasion by TAI PING, a specialist in the design of rugs and carpets for exceptional interiors. Furniture, carefully selected from the collections of contemporary furniture designers, will be arranged by RBC Mobilier. ● The Business Center, in the colours of ING Lease/Private Banking, will offer participants its computer and office services. All exhibitors will be provided with free internet connection cards.
● 500 exhibitorswill be there to highlight their skills and know-how.
● 85% of them are returning to the show.
● 40 new companies have been selected from 250 requests for permission to join the show.
● A total of 9 different sectors of activity in international luxury yachtingwill be represented including ship-builders, designers and architects, brokers, service providers and tender builders, professional federations, and members of the press for specialised topics.
