With launch in 2015, the luxury motor yacht Azamanta is a magnificent 55-metre steel fast displacement vessel, built by the respected Dutch manufacturer, Heesen Yachts. Boasting naval architecture by the yard's in-house team in partnership with Van Oossanen, the elegant Heesen superyacht Azamanta also features beautiful exterior styling by Frank Laupman from Omega Architects.

With exterior design by Omega Architects, Azamanta has vertical windows with numerous glass insertions in the bulwarks, promoting natural light. The in house Heesen designers worked in collaboration with Omega Architects on the superstructure aft, which is free from pillars. Sinot Design has developed the interior in line with the owner’s passion for Metropolitan-style Art Déco.
A total number of 12 guests can find utmost in luxury aboard Heesen superyacht Azamanta. She offers 6 lovely cabins. The main deck features a spacious master suite, traditionally situated on the main deck forward, while the lower deck provides a full beam VIP cabin, along with two twin and two double cabins.
Externally, the 55-metre luxury yacht Azamanta boasts extensive outdoor spaces with a 110-square metre sun deck as well as a 70-square metre Owner’s private terrace, which can be found forward. Tenders and toys are stored in the garage situated at the front of the vessel and launched from the two gull-wings doors on each side; hence the lazarette can be dedicated to a wide beach club and gym, with a generous swim platform.

During the sea trials, which took place last month, Azamanta reached a top speed of 16.9 knots – exceeding the contractual speed by 0.4 knots. “We are very pleased with Azamanta. She is the expression of a passionate and experienced yacht owner who built a yacht to travel the globe and explore exotic destinations. Her ice-reinforced steel hull and her unusual colour scheme will enable her passengers to safely, comfortably and elegantly cruise also in high latitudes,” says Bilderlings Wealth, the wealth advisory company representing the owner and managing the project throughout the build.
“Azamanta is the third yacht we have delivered this year after the 50-metre Sibelle and the 47-metre Asya. She is a wonderful example of what owners can achieve when they entrust Heesen to build their superyacht: solid Dutch design, engineering and naval architecture, wrapped in unique individual design,” says the yard.
