  The Vitruvius series were conceived with a focus on maximum efficiency through the reduction of fuel consumption; this particular Vitruvius project was managed by Burgess Yachts and built by Picchiotti SPA.
  An ice class yacht, she was created for extreme exploration, particularly of the challenging ice regions and the North West Passage. Her volume is considerable and she has the capability of stowing large amounts of equipment on board. She carries a 4.2m rescue boat and her versatile main tender is 9.6m. In addition she has a 6m rigid dingy, 2 lasers, 2 kayaks, water skis and bicycles. The yacht is also equipped with diving centre.
  She has a gross tonnage of 725 tons, a displacement of 580 tonnes, a reduced draught of 3 metres for navigating even in shallower waters, and a range of 9000 miles at 11 knots.
   With a distinct feeling of space aboard, she is a true lifestyle yacht designed to enhance outdoor living.
A further Vitruvius® motor yacht is currently under construction; a 73m Explorer whose delivery is scheduled for 2013.
