Nowadays, the extensive in house capabilities and modern construction facilities, such as a laser cutting and welding device and completely covered building docks, ensure the ongoing creation of yachts of the very highest standard. Furthermore, Blohm & Voss makes good use of the synergy between yacht construction and high technology naval construction. This can be demonstrated in the latest mega yacht concept, incorporating the highly successful CODAG WARP propulsion system, as installed in the recently delivered corvettes for South Africa. Blohm & Voss works closely with well know designers and participates in such futuristic concepts as the 147m luxury yacht project by Atabeyki. This project will be displayed among others at the exhibition.
