The Windcat MK4 can carry up to 50 persons to a maximum of 300Nm off the coast. On the lower deck there are two cabins both containing two berths, on the main deck a salon which is a large and comfortable air-conditioned lounge area with various entertainment sets, a game console, tables with computer points, WIFI, a fully equipped galley and toilet and shower facilities. On the upper deck the wheelhouse and engineers cabin.
The strengthened fore deck is suitable for carrying one 20ft or two 10ft storage containers, generators or cargo. Naturally Vripack has also paid attention to safety precautions by integrating a watermist / ultra fog system for the accommodations and technical spaces. The Windcat MK4 has naval architecture from Morelli & Melvin, is being built by Bloemsma & Van Breemen and is scheduled to be launched in July 2010.
