Dutch based Fifth Ocean Yachts bv has appointed Ginton Naval Architects bv for the design of the first of a series of 24 meters ocean going yachts. Building has been commenced at Black Sea Yacht Yard in the town Nikolaev in Ukraine, which is the perfect place to build this special design, with the towns rich history of shipbuilding.
Dutch based Fifth Ocean Yachts bv has appointed Ginton Naval Architects bv for the design of the first of a series of 24 meters ocean going yachts.

Building has been commenced at Black Sea Yacht Yard in the town Nikolaev in Ukraine, which is the perfect place to build this special design, with the towns rich history of shipbuilding. What makes these 24 meters by Ginton Naval Architects so special is that it has a spacious 3 deck lay-out.
For the adventurous client, who wants to sail around the world, the yacht has a transatlantic range and complies with CE Ocean Going stability requirements. The maximum speed of 11.5 knots will be realized by two Caterpillar C7 engines.
The interior design has been appointed to Erik van Dongen - SDSI. The spacious accommodation includes an owner suite and separate study, VIP cabin and a double guest cabin. The main salon, dining area, day head and galley also contribute to the luxurious feel of the yacht.
The crew areas have not been forgotten. In total there is room for 3 crew, the captain’s cabin being positioned right aft of the wheelhouse.
