It has been announced that Perini Navi has signed a major contract for the sale of a 73.3m motor yacht.  This is a further endorsement of the remarkable reception awarded to the launch of the new Vitruvius® line of motor yachts designed by Philippe Briand.

Despite only being launched 18 months ago, there are already three yachts in production for the new Vitruvius® range.  Two new yachts are currently under construction: a 50m and a 55m Explorer.

Perini Navi has formed an exclusive relationship with Philippe Briand to design the Vitruvius® Explorers.  This decisive partnership, with their proven track record of quality and success, means they can offer clients a range of Explorers that are not just highly efficient and of a striking design but also built to world class standards.

This yacht has an optimised design hull, the DNA of the Vitruvius® Explorers. It reduces drag and therefore decreases the consumption of fossil energy, thus reducing the carbon footprint. These very characteristic hull lines, determine the efficiency, consumption and seaworthiness of the ship.

The propulsion is diesel electric, which further reduces consumption and drastically reduces the noise levels, making the Vitruvius® run very quietly. The yacht carries state of the art waste treatment systems. All this is in tune with the owners’ eco-conservative interests.

These features enabled Philippe Briand to fulfil the owners’ brief for an innovative, harmonious vessel.

It was the explicit wish of the owner for the yacht to be a safe haven of peace and well being for everybody on board. The yacht has a spa and hydrotherapy zones, as well as meditation and yoga areas including quiet private reading places.

She includes a pottery room and kiln, enabling creative urges to be satisfied as the owners sail the world’s oceans.

There are two fully equipped fitness areas to keep guests as well as the crew in top shape.
The Vitruvius® 73.3 is an Explorer designed with profound respect for the environment and with care for the well being of the human body and mind.
