Vripack was already very proud of the extraordinary achievement to have two yachts nominated as finalists for the World Superyacht Awards in the category Best Displacement Motor Yacht below 500GT. It became even more exceptional when during this event, held on the 16th May 2009, over 500 guests witnessed how both yachts, Beothuk and Ingot, won a Judges’ Commendation Award.
 Vripack was already very proud of the extraordinary achievement to have two yachts nominated as finalists for the World Superyacht Awards in the category Best Displacement Motor Yacht below 500GT. It became even more exceptional when during this event, held on the 16th May 2009, over 500 guests witnessed how both yachts, Beothuk and Ingot, won a Judges’ Commendation Award.
 The competition was tough as in this category nine outstanding yachts were nominated, all constructed from different materials varying from steel/aluminum to aluminum to composite. In this extremely competitive range also 2 yachts were awarded with a Neptune. It was the sheer practicality of Beothuk and the high quality of Ingot that led to both being honored with a Judges’ Commendations award. Vripack is fully responsible for the Interior and Exterior Design & Styling, Naval Architecture and Marine & Mechanical Engineering for Beothuk, a 31m Doggersbank Offshore. For Ingot, a 46.5m MY built by Burger Boat Company, Vripack executed the Interior Design and also played an important role in the Naval Architecture.
