The company announced the launch of the 45M project in April 2008, in the framework of the exhibition MIBS-Spring which was held in the Moscow exhibition centre Crocus Expo. Preparation of all necessary documentation took less than a year and finally the solemn ceremony of the keel laying of the steel hull was held on 20th February 2009 in Shlisselburg.

In accordance with the existing tradition the hull was consecrated by the priest in the presence of the whole staff of the company and the guests. The nameplate was fastened by the designer of the 45M project Frank Laupman (Omega Architects) and one of Laky Verf founders, Victor Olersky.

“The company has enough experience in building the motor yachts of the 23M project. The starting of the construction of the 45M megayacht proves that the company has achieved a higher level of its development,” – Mr. Olersky says.

This yacht will be built under the survey of the acknowledged Classification Society Bureau Veritas and in full compliance with the MCA Regulations.

The company is planning the launch of the 45M yacht in 2011.
