Andrew Winch Designs has announced that a British Owner and his British team plan to create a beautiful 59.4-meter megayacht, and where better to build such an impressive undertaking than at Benetti. As the dictionary meaning of her name suggests, Xanadu will be a beautiful and idyllic place. She will have the spirit of Italy flowing through her exterior lines and through her classic interior.

As the dictionary meaning of her name suggests, Xanadu will be a beautiful and idyllic place. She will have the spirit of Italy flowing through her exterior lines and through her classic interior.
The superstructure lines with clean radii and balanced windows have been influenced by the great architecture of Ferrari, Lamborghini and Maserati. Each deck space will have a different atmosphere, from the Owner's private foredeck to the dining rotunda at the aft end of the skylounge.Her classical interior has a huge volume which incorporates a duplex Master cabin, with its own private terrace and panoramic Owners bedroom. There is also a full beam VIP suite, four double bedrooms that convert into twins, a fifth guest cabin on the skylounge deck that converts into a and beauty saloon, an inside/outside terrace dining area and an indoor/outdoor gym on the sundeck. To cap all of this, there is a monumental staircase that spirals up three decks with a skylight above it located in the sundeck swimming pool. Interior and exterior design is by by Andrew Winch Designs, and client project management by Neil Cheston of Camper&Nicholson. Xanadu is scheduled for a May, 2008 release.
