ISA announces a new commercial result with the sale of the Alexander V, a 48-metre displacement motor yacht in steel and aluminium, which followed a direct transaction between ISA sales manager and a young and dynamic client without intermediaries.

The rewarding side of the sale is having achieved the confidence of a new customer, who first showed concrete interests into ISA yachts at the latest edition of the Monaco Yacht Show in September, with a strong feedback at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show in October. The yard maintains a strict confidentiality on the customer’s name.

The 48-metre motor yacht is a special edition of the well-known ISA 47, produced in 7 models, that makes use of a 47-metre naval platform already developed by ISA’s technical staff.

The design of the yacht is by Walter Franchini, concept and engineering are by ISA. From a design perspective, the ISA 480 marks a genuine departure from tradition. She has an extraordinary stern with a splendid pair of staircases, connecting all the decks, a real invitation onboard. The aft decks feel like balconies with the stairs on each side being one of the main elements of the boats’ s styling, form and function having been worked up together.

The style of the boat has been only partially selected, so more details will be released later in a further stage of the construction. However, it can be disclosed that for sure the boat will not be white, as in the best ISA’s traditions!!

As already announced, ISA 480 is also a highly innovative project, in fact systems of the latest generation will be installed on board thus making Alexander V the prototype of the so-called “clever boat”, the remarkable project that ISA is pioneering and will soon announce.

The yacht will be ready for the delivery in the coming Summer 2008.
