The lines of the new 23-metre long fly-bridge yacht – the Marzarin 72 by SMG Werft AG in Rostock present themselves as a synthesis of elegance and power that convey an impression of size. The Mazarin reflects the handwriting of an experienced designer - a designer who is at home in the world of superyachts.

Jorg Beiderbeck who was responsible for both the exterior and interior, is one of Germany’s superyacht designers who enjoys international fame while being able to reflect on 30 years of experience. It is not only the Mazarin’s lines that are remarkable but also its many dever details. The 23-metre yacht is different from many other motor yachts of this size and may be used for both carefree sea trips as well as representation tasks in exclusive ports or at its place of anchorage.

Now working with his partner, Immo Ludeling, in beiderbeck designs, the man has left his mark on the superyacht sector.

That the yacht designer also has talent for creating land-based was demonstrated with the unusual villa he designed for a ship owner. But he also knows how to skillfully realize smaller maritime shapes. And so the books also contain design commissions for yachts under 72 feet. But the skills and experience of Mr.Beiderbeck, who has been honoured with many international design awards, are equally in demand for maxi and megayacht projects. As the project manager, he was, for instance, responsible for the interior of the 93-metre long three-mast schooner, Eos, built bu the Lurssen yard in Bremen. The work is currently in progress on a similar job for a yacht of 100 metres being completed by a superyacht building company.
