De Voogt Naval Architects, part of the Feadship group and headquartered in Haarlem, the Netherlands, has announced the appointment of Hans van Riemsdijk as managing director.

With decades of experience in the shipbuilding and aviation industries, Van Riemsdijk is a specialist in the management of medium-sized technical firms in an international environment.

Together with the rest of the management team within Feadship, he will be responsible for the overall organisation of De Voogt Naval Architects and the training of the next generation of leaders within
the company.
