The new superyacht was launched Tuesday afternoon, 7 April, 2015 at the Feadship Koninklijke De Vries Scheepsbouw yard in Makkum, The Netherlands. Moon Sand is hull number 690, a 44.20 metre twin screw motor yacht with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure.
Feadship hull No 690, Moon Sand features naval architecture and exterior styling by the builder’s in house De Voogt Naval Architects, while the interior design comes from the drawing boards of London based Bannenberg & Rowell Design.
Bannenberg & Rowell have previously collaborated with Feadship on the interiors of the iconic 72m Predator, 39 metre Kathleen Anne, and they also worked on the refit of the 51 metre Feadship Illusion.
The striking interiors of Feadship super yacht Moon Sand can sleep up to guests in utmost in luxury, providing them with 4 lovely cabins. These include a huge Owner’s suite with a beautiful study, double bathroom and walk in dressing room, in addition to three large guest staterooms. Two of these are easily convertible into one large stateroom with separate seating and there is also one large full-beam VIP stateroom positioned forward.
Feadship luxury yacht Moon Sand is run by twin powerful Caterpillar C32 896 kW @ 1800 rpm diesel engines.
