The 135ft (41m) luxury  superyacht from Global Explorer Yachts currently being constructed in Brazil and on the market  is due for completion in February 2011. Beneath its’ sleek exterior it is very much designed as an explorer/expedition vessel. Carrying some 80,000 litres of fuel giving a range of 7000 miles at 10kn with a cruising speed of 12.5kn, this vessel is made to go places. The MCA classification reaffirms the safety aspect from which this yacht is designed.

The naval architecture was completed by Overing Yacht Designs, the interior by Kirschtein Designs, hull form tank tested in Russia at the Krylov Institute, and the construction is progressing well. Sleeping 12 guests in 6 cabins, and 8 crew in 4 cabins, this vessel is well suited to either a private or charter program.

The main deck full beam Master cabin with its private salon, office, dressing room and his and her bathrooms provides a considerable private living space. Aft of this is the galley, dining room, guest bathroom, salon and expansive aft deck. The lower deck contains 5 guest cabins off a lobby with a separate crew entry.

The front of the bridge deck has a large sun bed, seating with a wind barrier and the space to accommodate 2 jet skis. The inside houses the bridge with observation seating, a Captain’s cabin, sky lounge and second  guest bathroom  and another aft deck which holds the 2 tenders, when the tenders are removed this area becomes 1 large entertaining area  with shade.

 On the sun deck there is a large seating area in front which holds a wind break ahead of the Jacuzzi, then a large sun pad, a bar, BBQ, and aft seating. This area also has an optional shade which can be erected.

Caterpillar propulsion, Northern Lights generation, Atlas converters, Hamann waste treatment, ABT hydraulics and 4 fin at anchor stabilisation, Furuno commercial navigational equipment, the equipment manufacturers are all leaders in their fields.
