This new aluminium Philippe Briand design is being built by the Perini Navi shipyard.
Her future owner has insisted on outstanding performance, including upwind. She is of medium to light displacement at less than 140 tons. Waterline length has been stretched to the maximum, as her bow is almost vertical. For upwind sailing, she has a sail plan with a high aspect ratio. This first version has a lifting keel.

Inside, the accommodation is made of light materials and has been designed by Perini, and made according to the yard’s high quality standards. The yacht has a very spacious master suite, two to four guest cabins (depending on the version) and notably a spacious deck saloon.
The aesthetic roof design accentuates the yacht’s dynamic and racy character. It houses an extremely spacious and well sheltered cockpit. The vast aft deck homes to a 5 m long tender.
Launch is scheduled for June 2008.
For Briand Yacht Design and Perini Navi, this yacht is the first of a line of very fast sailing yachts. Both companies believe this new approach is posed to be a success.
