Fitzroy Yachts has built an international reputation for the production of quality superyachts from 25m (80ft) to 44m (145ft) in aluminium and steel. The yards eagerly awaited first vessel, a stunning 80ft sloop “Spirit of Fitzroy” was proudly debuted at the 2000 Monaco Boat Show. Since then, the steady stream of commissions has seen Fitzroy Yachts expand its purpose built facility to 5500sqm, providing the capacity to produce vessels up to 50m (160 ft). A major investment in the latest equipment has also been made to assist the 150 staff in achieving the common goal of building quality superyachts Under the leadership of Managing Director Peter White-Robinson, Fitzroy Yachts looks forward to the continuing development of New Zealand’s boat-building industry and creating some of the finest vessels to sail the oceans of the world.
